Professional Clinical Consultations

I offer peer-to-peer clinical consultation for liscenced mental health professionals looking to consult on specific cases or learn more about specific diagnoses/treatment modalities that are within my specialty areas. I have extensive experience providing clinical training and workshops to therapists of all experience levels (see workshops page for more info). Topics for professional clinical consultation include (but are not limited to):

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
- OCD in kids and teens, and/or when OCD is impacting the family system as a whole
- Utilizing Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) to treat OCD symptoms
- Utilizing Acceptance and Committment Therapy (ACT) to treat OCD symptoms
- OCD in Couples / conducting couples therapy from an OCD-competent lens when one or both partners experience OCD
- Parent only or partner only work (for example, the person with the OCD diagnosis won't attend sessions)
Anxiety Disorders
- Differential diagnoses
- Utilizing ERP across anxiety disorders including specific phobias, GAD, and more

I currently own and operate a successful cash pay solo practice in Kennesaw, GA (in person and virtually). After working in several different treatment settings, including group practice for several years, I know taking the leap to solo practice can feel scary and overwhelming. I love helping therapists weigh the pros and cons of private practice and work out if it is the right fit for them, and if so, help them take the first steps to get started!

Supervision for Therapists in Training

Becoming a therapist is no small feat, and having a great supervisor to support you along the way can mean the difference between surviving or thriving during your training/pre-licensure period.

About My Supervision:

I've worked in many different settings/levels of care and with diverse client populations. I love working with therapists who are new to the field and supporting them in their journey through trying new interventions, navigating their first job(s), learning how to practically apply ethics, apply for licensure or associate licensure, navigate the licensing exam, and more.

I provide supervision for students, pre-licensed, and associate licensed therapists. I also provide professional consultation for interested fully licensed therapists/mental health professionals (see below).

I am an AAMFT Approved Supervisor Candidate, - this means that have passed the 30hr course and I am in the process of becoming fully approved once I complete my mentorship portion of training. Please ask if you have more questions about how this works or how the hours are counted in Georgia (for MFTs, supervision hours by me count the same as any other AAMFT approved supervisor, since I am currently under mentorship).
